markilux 3300

High impact – Low maintenance

The markilux 3300’s main advantage is that it can visually blend with the architecture of the property. With its smooth front profile, the 3300 awning can completely disappear into a wall or recess. This full cassette awning can provide shade to large areas as up to three of these can be coupled, each covering a 7 metre width with projection of 4 metres.

The markilux 3300 comes with the bionic tendon arm technology and is manually operated as standard. Optionally, the awning can be installed with servo assisted manual operation, hard wired or radio controlled motor, or silentec motor. As with any markilux awning, the 3300 is available in a range of colours and patterns of the fabric, sun, rain and wind sensors that could fully automate the awning.

Valance: The valance is located on the front profile of the awning and usually replicates the fabric of the awning. With markilux, you can choose from four different valance shapes: straight, corrugated, curved and flat wavy.

Coupled awning: Awnings can be coupled together to cover even larger areas up to 13.9m in width. Suitable for larger patios or commercial applications.

Wall sealing profile: A wall sealing profile is available which can be fitted between the awning and the fixing surface to prevent water ingress.

Manual operation: Manual operation is possible for those who do not find the need to automate their awnings. Markilux supplies stainless steel winding handles which are supplied for awnings with a gear box. Low noise bearings & ergonomically shaped grips allow efficiency when operating the awning manually.

Servo-assisted manual operation: This works by a mechanism which is housed inside the roller as a spring coil. As the awning is wound out with the spring assisted arms the coil winds in the opposite direction which creates tension, therefore when winding the awning in it uncoils making it easier to retract the awning via the crank handle.

Hard-wired motor: For markilux hard-wired motors it is required to have a power connection outside. These motors can be controlled via a switch from the inside allowing you to extend or retract your awning through a flip of a switch, saving both time & effort when having to do it manually.

Radio-controlled motor: These motors allow you to control your awning through the touch of a button. This will save the hassle of having to operate the awning through a hard-wired motor drive as this will still require more effort than simply pressing a button within the comfort and shade of your awning.

Your awning offers you a lot of creative freedom: choose your favourite design for the cover from our extensive range. Whether you prefer modern, plain awning fabrics or classic, striped covers, all markilux awning fabrics meet the highest standards in terms of quality, robustness and durability. We are also happy to take your very own personal colour preferences into account and dye your awning fabric in compliance with RAL colours. Our personalised signwriting service facilitates individual branding on the awning fabric – for restaurants, cafés and hotels, for example.

Vibrabox / Wind sensor: Intelligent, sensitive and independent of the mains. Inertia sensor which reacts to the level of vibration caused by the wind and prompts a motor-driven awning to retract if the predetermined wind speed is exceeded.

Rain sensor: The awning retracts automatically in the case of precipitation. This intelligent control mechanism protects the cover on your awning.

Light sensor: Intelligent control of your blind or awning according to the intensity of the sun’s rays. Battery operated, so there is no need for a mains power supply.

Light & Wind sensor: According to the prevailing weather conditions, this intelligent control system will extend and retract your awning automatically.

Remote control: Comfort can be so easy. Awning, shadeplus, light and warmth at the touch of a button.

Somfy TaHoma switch: the smart-home solution makes it possible for you to control your patio awning with your smartphone, tablet or smart speaker (Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant etc.), whether you are relaxing on your patio or away from home.
