The markilux 970 full cassette awning with its slim and neat appearance is ideal for those who love simple and elegant solutions. It comes with a good number of styling options and a variety of front panel coloured finishes, including optional LED line in the cassette. The 970 awning is equipped with bionic tendon arms and can spread up to 6 metres with a projection of 3 metres or 5 metres wide with 3.5 metre projection. If you require additional shading, especially for low sun at sunsets or sunrises, this awning can be produced with a shadeplus drop valance.
You can choose from a huge number of colours and patterns for your fabric and find the best combination with the front panel colour. The markilux 970 comes with manual operation as standard but can be upgraded to servo-assisted manual, hard-wired or radio controlled motor which can be controlled via remote control or an app.

LED Line in cassette: Makes for a stylish ambience at dusk and throughout the evening.
LED Spotlights under cassette: The option of directional LED spotlights fitted to the underside of the cassette provide an appealing atmosphere in the evening.
Shadeplus: The optional protection from glare and prying eyes creates an enviable, private room outdoors. On request, the shadeplus can be equipped with a radio-controlled motor and supplied with a remote control.
Colour combinations: The cassette and styling panel are available in different colours which can be mixed and matched freely with one another.
Manual operation: Manual operation is possible for those who do not find the need to automate their awnings. Markilux supplies stainless steel winding handles which are supplied for awnings with a gear box. Low noise bearings & ergonomically shaped grips allow efficiency when operating the awning manually.
Servo-assisted manual operation: This works by a mechanism which is housed inside the roller as a spring coil. As the awning is wound out with the spring assisted arms the coil winds in the opposite direction which creates tension, therefore when winding the awning in it uncoils making it easier to retract the awning via the crank handle.
Hard-wired motor: For markilux hard-wired motors it is required to have a power connection outside. These motors can be controlled via a switch from the inside allowing you to extend or retract your awning through a flip of a switch, saving both time & effort when having to do it manually.
Radio-controlled motor: These motors allow you to control your awning through the touch of a button. This will save the hassle of having to operate the awning through a hard-wired motor drive as this will still require more effort than simply pressing a button within the comfort and shade of your awning.
